The pH probe is a glass probe, improper use could break the glass pH probe.

• When using the tester in soil, ensure you only use it in prepared loose soil.
• DO NOT insert into clay-based, hardened soil, heavy sand soil, or medium with stone chips as it could damage the glass pH probe.
• DO NOT force insert into soil of any kind.
