Fill up the water tray with approx 2/3 water

Place the mesh tray on water tray

Fill up the water until the water level just covers the bottom of the mesh tray

Spread seeds evenly over the mesh tray. For small size seeds, lay a piece of kitchen towel to cover the mesh tray bottom before spreading seeds on it. Reserve sufficient space for seeds to expand and grow. Excessive seeds amount will cause significant rotten sprouts.  The ideal amount is when soaking up seeds just one layer spread over the mesh.

(NOTE, do not let seeds immerse into the water. For small seeds, just make sure the kitchen towel is wet without seeing excessive water)
